Displaying the Datapool Activities
By displaying the Datapool Activities you can see:
how many updates are cached in a Datapool,
the Datapool's current timestamp value,
how many times a Datapool has been flushed since the application was started.
Launch the Presentation Server Administration tool.
Click on the View | Administration menu to open the Administration window.
Click on the Datapool Activities button. The Datapools list shows the Datapool details of all applications.

Indicates the Datapool name. |

Active: |
Indicates if the Datapool is activated or not. |

Timestamp: |
Indicates the current Timestamp held in the Datapool. |
|
Cache Size: |
Indicates the maximum number of data updates held in the memory and disk for this Datapool. |
|
Cached Items: |
Indicates the number of data updates currently held in the memory and on the disk for this Datapool. |
|
Flush Count: |
Indicates the number of times the Datapool updates have been flushed. |
|
App ID: |
Indicates the ID of the application which is using the Datapool. |
Click on the Current button to view flush events since the last reset of the selected Presentation Server.
Click on the Archived button to view the history of all flush events of the selected Presentation Server.
Select a Datapool from the Datapool Activities window.
Click on the View Updates button. The following Datapool updates window will be opened:

You can also view current datapool update from Application Manager. To do so, launch Application Manager and select View | Application Status menu and click View Updates button.
In the Datapool Activities window, select a Datapool from the list.
Click on the Current button to view its current history. The current history refers to all events since the last reset of the selected Presentation Server. The following details are displayed:
Specifies the date and time at which the Datapool was flushed.
Specifies the duration in seconds to fill up the cache buffer.
In the Datapool Activities window, select a Datapool from the list.
Click on the Archived button to view its archived history. The archived history refers to the entire history of the Datapool. The information is derived from the dpflush.log file stored in the data subdirectory. The following details are displayed:
Specifies the date and time at which the Datapool was flushed.
Specifies the duration in seconds to fill up the cache buffer.
